Hello Taffy, I’m praying that God will connect us, because I feel really connected to your heart and I want to talk so much with you and I really want you to be part of my life just like Jesus is.

your right. You need to live life the best you can. when people try to challenge me, i answer their questions. sometimes it is hard to try to change people minds, but if they come to you, most of the time, they are open minded. I know what i believe is god exist. i also believe that science can show evidence that God exist. I am a charasmatic person. I don’t judge. if they have questions i try to answer. just live the best u can.

if you lived in the middle east, then your whole family would believe in mohammed. and they think you are just as twisted as you think they are. so who is right?
Taffy is going to have to get used to people challenging her beliefs, though, if she wants to be a missionary to the West Coast pagans. And yelling at people like Miranda is not going to bring about the desired result. St Francis had better advice: “Preach the gospel at all times: use words if necessary.”
oh taffy, what happened to experiencing new things. if you want to be a true believer, when you’re beliefs are tested you mustn’t get beligerant. jesus wouldn’t have yelled at miranda like you did. you need to open yourself up to new experiences and ideas.
She doesn’t want that gift. You can’t force her to.
What denomination are you? Have you thought about finding a other Christians in the area? I think you are lonely. Religion is a lot about community and you lost yours when you moved.
The Secret is a real thing. Oprah is a big fan of it. They made a movie:
I sort of hope they don’t get into it too much. It really isn’t worth it. I think Miranda is just a stereotypical aging LA new age capitalist. Taffy will have to get used to those.
i’m not sure miranda’s beliefs are well-articulated for us, what does it mean to make sense, really? certainly there are parts of christianity, not core parts perhaps, that don’t make sense. like the Catholic view on transubstantiation, in my opinion.
Brilliant episode. Taffy people back home do not have to be talked into it because they have been trained since childhood what to believe. Lashing out like you did to Miranda is the way they keep people in line. If you were born in Africa then you might be reading the Quran and praying to Allah. In L.A. you might think you are a Thetan (god) and have dead space aliens crawling on you. People with different beliefs think they are right too. Judging and lashing out will not convert them.
Maybe just maybe, you do not know everything.
Being humble is the most Christian thing I know of. Nobody needs to believe what you do. Be secure in your own personal relationship with God. Don’t force what you think is right on someone else. Imagine yourself in their shoes. Imagine someone is preaching to you about how everything you believe is a lie and everything they believe is the only truth. Can you imagine that? That is what you are doing. That starts wars.
It’s hard.. but try putting yourself in her shoes.. to her The Secret is something that was easy for her to grasp.. it requires minimal dedication.. and not much effort.. she doesn’t want to make an effort to know Jesus because thats out of her thinking.. she wants things to come easy for her.. she already had the hard times, she wants the easy. Make it easy for her to understand and she might start to get lead in the right path.

Well Taffy you can only do what you can do. The rest is up to God.
The only people who got a car from The Secret were the people selling it.
