Yes it is British, one of the V Bombers. It left active service in the 1980′s and I believe this is the only one flying in the world at the moment.

I didn’t know this plane existed. My guess is that it is British.

Nice! But…at what cost? Is it worth TWO MILLION POUNDS ANNUALLY to fly it? Vulcan Operating Co told Lottery that airshow fees would pay all costs for sustained operations. Now, we’re finding out that’s not true. Sorry, guys, but TWO MILLION POUNDS ANNUALLY was never gonna come from airshow fees. A blind man couldda seen that before you started. I seem to recall the RAF retired it because, aside from being old, it was also EXPENSIVE TO OPERATE. VulcantotheHANGAR!

I was at RIAT 2009 this year on a MACH 3 Ticket and as a few people have commented you would have been better putting the video with the Sunday take off that was so much better !! It did a wing-over of at least 120 degrees right after it lifted off

I was there for the show tdy from Barksdale, and let me tell watching the Vulcan climb after take off was crazy. I didn’t think such a big plane could do something like that.

You`ve gotta hand it to the Italians, they`re regaining their confidence after the accident in Germany,I feel the Red Arrows, whilst excellent pilots, are getting conplacent.

Funny how No.10 couldn’t justify the expense for this, yet managed to find billions for the spiv banksters.
