Tattoing a portrait of my daughter on myself part 1/3
A film of me tattooing myself. It is a portrait of my beloved daughter Naja. The reason i made this film is to show budding tattoo artists out how a portrait is made. when i first started tattooing it was very hard to get help so i decided i would help as much as i can. I will probably make more tattoo films in the future so ideas and suggestions are very welcome of course. really great work man. ive been to tattoo shops that aren’t as good as you. do you have your own shop or do you work out of your house?

@chomanthapa i dont use many stencil lines but if i do i try to avoid wiping at them altogether. or i run them over with a very light grey

@nissta also what kind of machines do you recommend? i am on a budget but i heard bulldog frames are good, do you have any preferences on machines that are good but still fairly cheap?

@nissta Hey I was just wondering, I did my first tattoo on my self and I had a problem with the ink kinda getting all over the place and i was not able to see the actual needle point and lines i was doing, What do you do to keep the excess ink from splattering all over the skin?

heya.. i am fine at tattooing but i always tend to erase the stencil lines..this is really irritating..most of the times i use gray wash shade such that the ink does not spread all over the stencil when i wipe it…i find it difficult to wipe the dark balck color without erasing the stencil.. what is ur approach ?
