Repo! The Genetic Opera Series: Amber Sweet
This makeup series is especially close to my heart because I am a big fan of Repo! The Genetic Opera. I absolutely love musicals to begin with, but this rock opera has a particular, quirky brilliance that stands out among the rest. I will be doing quite a few makeup looks based off the characters in the film, as the predominantly gothic aesthetic has really sparked my interest. Ah, I love Repo! And “Zydrate Anatomy” just so happens to be one of my favorite songs from the musical!! <3

@pumpkinblood I remember watching Sweeney Todd and at the end of the contest there is a man who approaches him to ask where his shop is when I saw him I was like OMG it’s NATHAN!!! Lol. He played Nathan just beautifully. My younger sister introduced me to Repo and I blew her off thinking not my style, but out of boredom gave it a shot. Glad I did!

Amazing! I love Repo when I saw Anthony Stewart Head I was like Giles what are you doing?! And the movie did not get the credit it deserved, good thing there’s still people with taste like us though lol.

@nicol3ist the song is called zydrate anatomy and you should really see the movie its an experience. i loved it and it became one of my all time favorites.

OMG I love this look and…..I am OBESSED with Repo! Best musical since Rocky Horror picture show in my eyes. I’ve watched alot of your videos and your great. I try to recreate many looks but wal mart elcheapo the color workshop makeup gift sets don’t have very pigmented colors and alot of fallout from them. I’m nowhere good enough to do an actual tutorial or live video for my looks. But love your makeup vids. xoxo Long live Repo!
