the new zealand army band is a full time band in the army, unlike the traditional british bands it is not part of a regiment or corps, it is the armys band and they are not cavilians

It’s a Brass Band. Which is very unique, it’s one of very few military Brass bands.

just so its clear its not a “drum and bugle” or “drum corps band” it’s a Traditional Brass Band with a New Zealanders twist.
