when adding pigment to the human skin it just works best when going dark to light.. its kinda wierd but i would suggest when coloring leaving the area you want to add white alone.
December 19th, 2009 at 5:45 am
is he gonna shade last or just forego it altogether? great outline. also, why noy fill it in with a 9 mag and be done?

Just curious, if you go dark to light how does the white show up on dark inked skin? I’ve seen some awesome greyscale work that was highlighted with white and I’ve always been curious how it was done…

if you do it his way your white color will turn pinkish.. notice his outcome..

this is ridiculous. i can’t believe that people are really doing this. if this guy cared about tattooing at all he would have never done this. no matter how unaccurate it is. i can’t tell if this is a joke or not.

YOU ARE ALL FUCKING STUPID! an apprenticeship takes yrs, and trying to be boiled down to video lessons is a mockery to the art and devotion it takes to craft ones skill to do the art and the people recieving it justice, all of you who have thanked this man or watched this in hopes of learning have just showed your unwillingness and half assed devotion that proves your unprofessionalism and unworthynessYOU FUCKING LOSERS! Those that paved the way for tattooing would be disheartened and ashamed!

Since you sound like you know what you’re talking about, don’t you agree that one shouldn’t be learning this type of thing on you tube?
Ink is for life (not counting removal methods) and I would not want someone who learned on you tube to ink me.

are you the ones making money for doing tatoos? if not, then where do you have any room to argue???
December 19th, 2009 at 10:21 am

I never use anything smaller than a 5 liner for outlining, and that’s on small pieces. Bigger pieces get a 7 liner. Using 3s for outlining is just going to lead to shaky, uneven lines, and going over the thing 3 or 4 times is just scarring up your clients. Save the 3s for small detail work and use 5s or 7s to get a nice, smooth, bold outline.
