Allen Iverson scored 33 points and led a fourth-quarter surge as the Philadelphia 76ers averted an embarrassing loss with a 95-88 victory over the winless Grizzlies. Any fan with a tattoo coming to Wednesday’s contest had a chance to win tickets to a future game. The promotion was tied to Iverson, the three-time NBA scoring champion whose collection of body art grows with each new season and covers nearly all of his slender body. But tattoos are a symbol of toughness, and Iverson is among the toughest players in the league.
