Yes there are some tattoos that require the whole nine yard of religious practice. Depending on the level of practices and how dedicated you are. You can maintain a Lower-Middle level of practice and still be HUMAN. HAHA Hope that helps.
If you want to criticize and ask 1000 questions about it you can make your own personal forum on why this story is bothering you so much that you can’t sleep at night. Or you can ask all the details about the story from my dad yourself if you’d like because it seems like you want to reply on every post you see.
Of course it has nothing to do with it, just like your replies. But I Just wanted to share a story about this “Sak yant” which relates to a story that was told to me as a kid. and good job for asking a question I just asked you…lol pretty mature. Of course I don’t know much about the 30′s and 40′s and I’m betting the ranch that you don’t either. My dad was born in 1929I’m pretty sure my dad knows the 30′s and 40′s and isn’t making this up because this is all he knows about his own father.
wat do i noe bout 30′s n 40′s?well how much u noe bout it?do u live around tt time?juz a story.nth to do with ajahn noo’s video rite?post it on a forum or wat
it’s a story that I’m sharing. you can believe it or not i don’t care. and what do you know about the 30′s, 40′s? around then my grandfather was fairly young. sometimes after you come out of the temple and finish becoming an ajahn, you can still be called ajahn. it gets embeded into their names because they were/are the teachers of buddhism. plus there’s a little difference between the 2. They teach it slightly different. From what i heard most temples don’t practice this style of buddhism.
well that’s how he told it to me. it would of been my aunt tecnically but i never met her nor she never lived long enough so i can call her my aunt. I don’t know but my father doesn’t even call her his sister, just his father’s daughter. My granfather was traveling alot so who knows if that was his sister from his mother or from a different mother. My dad said that he could’ve had numerous wives for all that traveling. who knows, my dad doesn’t because he was too young.
than let mi ask u.if he had a daughter.wouldnt he b ur father’s sister which is ur aunt? than why would u b sayin he had a daughter like tellin a story?
After his daughter passed, he never teached or practiced it again. He went paralyzed after that (probably because he insulted his or what use to be his beliefs) and was very sick. Until his death bed before died he had a seizure and fell off the bed. My dad who was only 7 yrs old at the time helped back up to the bed then he passes. After my dad grew up a little everyone from the village told him how powerful and magical his dad was… so sad..
She eventually dies, and he was so sad and outraged that he kicked all of his buddha statues and magical items and basically threw it outside of this house and didn’t teach or practice it ever again.
Speaking of tattoo’s he had from his arms, to his whole body down to his thighs. But one sad day, he had a daughter, she was still a baby, and she was sick. He tried all of this majic and remedies and nothing would work. He couldn’t understand why he could heal a whole village from hunger and sickness but not heal his own daughter.
True story, my dad’s father was a teacher, highest rank! My dad says there were 2 ranks only, an ajan saa and ajan kou. ajan kou was the highest. This was back in the 1930′s, 1940′s. He was so good, he help neighbors, villagers from sickness and hunger. My dad said he would do the sword dance and they would slash each other but no marks or trace of blood could be seen. He was so good he walked from Laos, to vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, and back to Laos within a 6 month period.
Does anyone know if the design at 1:50 has a specific name? i really like the overall design but i’d like to find the meaning behind it and this is the only place I can find it. Any leads would be helpful! Thanks!

Yeah, good try at lying but you aren’t buddhist. Buddhists are not to judge, and by saying christians are weird is judging.
