And their first tattoos, and their mom’s tattoos, and why Sara doesn’t like to date people with tattoos… and then there is extremely unfortunate camera battery death. And much sadness for missing the part where Sara creeps Tegan out by talking about how she doesn’t like to see her partner’s tattoos while they are wearing their “skin coats.” They request for that part of the interview to be edited out. No doubt about that but I was just wondering why the coolest band would get such lameass tattoos. Why couldn’t Tegan get something cool instead? It just makes me wonder.

Its a Buddhist symbol… its more of a sound then a word.. Om is what it actually is and putting the sound out is in fact a prayer but also just looking at the symbol itself is a prayer. I forget which deity but its the one of compassion… very meaningful symbol, arguably the biggest of Buddhism.. anyways I suggest looking it up.
