dr tattoff – what are the differences between laser removal and sun damage on your skin? Surely its a similar thing and if so, is skin cancer a concern? or is it more like a burn/scald?

Thanks for your inquiry. Laser tattoo removal and sun damage are two entirely different things. The energy is entirely different as is the biological mechanism, thus skin cancer is not a concern with laser tattoo removal. Please visit drtattoff dotcom for more information on how laser tattoo removal works.

tattooing it then getting it laser off and then getting another tattoo must be so bad for your skin

Interesting concern – thanks for bringing it up. If both procedures are done properly then it’s actually not bad for your skin at all. Neither procedure is particularly comfortable, but again if they are performed properly they will not have negative effects on your skin. Many Dr. Tattoff patients are sent in by their tattoo artists to lighten up old tattoos before a cover-up.

having a tatoo done and removed does it leave any scaring or anything to your skin i would definately consider a tatoo but not if it fucks me up to put it blunt
