It’s light in information, but interesting nonetheless. It has black and white drawings of various tribal tattoos. It also seperates them into sections (by tribes) and gives basic information on each tribe, along with a basic overview of Tattoos in general.
I bought the version with the body paints, which I wouldn’t suggest. It’s awfully gimicy.

This book is very informative as to the history of tribal tattoos. If you want to have a tribal tattoo and actually want to be able to tell people what it means, this is the book for you.
